There is
no doubt that a wedding celebration is the most exciting part of every Indian
family with ceremonies commencing from over a week prior to the big day. And
when the glitzy wedding affair includes a destination wedding theme, the
madness quotient simply gets doubled. Yes, we are talking about the recent
wedding extravaganza of Akshay Marwah, a Mumbai based movie director and son of
the owner of Noida’s film city, Sandeep Marwah.
The star
studded wedding was attended by who’s who of the Bollywood fraternity. The
wedding was held at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi that has witnessed many
high profile nuptials in the past. The entire Kapoor Clan was present to graciously
host and be a part of the celebrations.

BASH
Akshay Marwah hosted an extravagant
pre-wedding bash at Sainik Farms in New Delhi that marked the onset of the
elaborate wedding celebrations that followed. Another grand party was organized
in Abu Dhabi and it was thronged by many pretty faces from Bollywood and close
friends of the Kapoor clan including designer Kunal Rawal and Varun Dhawan with
his girlfriend.

LUXURIOUS
WEDDING DESTINATION AND FINEST DÉCOR
Seems like Abu Dhabi has become a
favorite wedding destination for a lot of celebrities in the movie circuit. The
Emirates Palace, chosen for Akshay Marwah’s wedding was attended by more than
300 guests. Finest décor experts were roped in to showcase their talent. The
ballroom, adorned in marble and gold interiors, perfectly blended the timeless
architecture with contemporary design and was picked for the mandap to perform
feras. Finest florists were booked from Abu Dhabi for doing the floral décor
and an extensive culinary team was hired to serve 12 extensive types of
cuisines.

ELABORATE
AFFAIR
The Kapoor family had booked the Emirates Palace to
facilitate elaborate 3 days celebrations that included several functions like
sangeet, mehendi and wedding. The Marwah and Kapoor family, including Sonam,
Rhea, Harshvardhan, Jhanvi and Khushi and others were seen dancing and
celebrating the occasion in full swing and enjoying every bit of the big fat
Punjabi wedding.
