The Shital Niwas
Bhawan was shining with glory and enthusiasm where Nisha Bhandari, the youngest
daughter of the president Bidhya Devi Bhandari and communist leader late Madan
Kumar Bhandari, tied the nuptial knot with Abhishek Yadav
who is the eldest son of engineer Munilaln Yadav and Kiran Yadav.
The wedding ceremony
started when the bride offered the garland to the groom so as to perform her swayamwar in the presence of both
families. Later the wedding culminated with saat pheras around the pious fire.
The bride looked
stunning in her red saree teamed with her elegant jewelry and the groom looked
suave in his blue suit. There were all smiles and the couple looked stunning
together.
Many big shots and
who’s who of politics, diplomats including Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun,
Chief Justice Sushila Karki, former Prime Ministers, former Chair of the
Council of Ministers, incumbent lawmakers, Rastrakavi Madhav Prasad Ghimire
attended the wedding ceremony of the daughter of the head of the state. The
former king Gyanendra Shah was also spotted at the wedding ceremony.
