Famed Hindi and Urdu poet and Indian lyricist Abdul Hayee would have been 97 on 8th March 2018. Even after his death on 25th October 1980, he is forever alive in heart of his fans.
Better known as Sahir Ludhiyanvi, the icon had given great contribution to the India cinema. There are many soulful songs composed by him which his fans still memorize. Aye meri zohrajabi, Abhi Na Jao Chhodkar, Chalo Ek baar Phir se, and Neele Gagan Ke tale are some of them.

He received Filmfare awards twice for his commendable work as a lyricist for the film “Taj Mahal” and “Kabhi Kabhi”.
