Destination weddings are the most enticing part of capturing all wedding stories, and we know this better like no one else. And yes, this section boasts of a destination wedding detail of Anushka Rajan, daughter of Karuna and Abhijit Rajan of Gammon India fame with Abhishek Doshi, a popular real estate scion in a lavish feast at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi in a majestic 2-days affair.
For a wedding this lavish, the guests welcome had to be top notch as well. Guests were welcomed in a flurry of Rio Carnival style dancers followed by a captivating troupe of salsa dancers who brightened up the entire ambiance with their foot tapping numbers and some amazing live jam sessions.
This was followed by a sangeet ceremony that took place at al Fresco that gave away the beautiful sight of the Emirates Palace garden and breathtaking view of the beach.
Next was the ‘Miama meets Havana’ themed party with wonderful décor of flowers and fruits.
Floating neon lights, illuminated dining area, and flamingo installations were icing on the cake here.
Anushka looked ravishing in a pastel hued lehenga with an off-shoulder crop top and styled her look with a choker necklace to go with it.
Wedding affair was the most sought after, which was a stylish event in itself and was attended by who’s who from the film fraternity. Quiet, to everyone’s surprise, the Bachchan clan was also seen attending the wedding, amongst few other Bollywood celebrities like Athiya Shetty, Tina Ambani, and Hetal Meswani. It is a known fact that both the Bachchan and Rajan family belong to Allahabad and it is from that time, that the families attribute their strong ties. Other prominent personalities included Parth and Anushree Jindal, Pinky and Sanjay Reddy, Praful and Varsha Patel and many others.
The bride looked ethereal in a Sabyasachi designer lehenga in dull gold and pink color combination and looked straight out of a beautiful canvas. She styled her lehenga with beautiful and delicate heirloom jewelry and was a sight to behold that left everyone gasping. Her elaborate diamond choker necklace and long jhumkas stole the show and made her look like a princess.
The groom had his own show of pompousness as he entered the venue with his squad in his own unique way, all singing and dancing. He was seen wearing an ivory colored kurta and pajama and his matching golden turban totally stood out. He was a true fashionista in his own way and complemented his beautiful bride in the best way that was possible.
