Ravindra Jadeja has represented India in various national and International levels in Cricket. Born on 6th December 1988 in a Rajput family, he has made the country proud on the field. But while his career path was soaring high and reaching the zenith of success, there was something that was going on in his personal life that left all his fans gasping. Yes, you guessed that right. We are talking about the much-talked event in his personal life-his marriage.
Ravindra Jadeja’s family took the onus of finding a suitable match for him and they eventually found one on December 2015. The girl was Rajkot based mechanical engineer, named Riva Solanki. Riva hails from a business family where her father is a big businessman in Rajkot while her mother is an employee in the Indian Railways.
The fact that Riva and Naina (Ravindra Jadeja’s sister) knew each other from before became an added advantage and the families decided to take the giant leap.
It took Ravindra and Riva just a single meet to know that they are so made for each other. Love at first sight, you see!

Finally, an engagement ceremony took place on February 6, 2016, in Rajkot. The engagement took place in Ravindra Jadeja’s own restaurant in Rajkot named ‘Jaddu’s Food Field’ which was transformed into a grand venue for the engagement to take place.
Ravindra looked dashing in a heavily embroidered Jodhpuri Sherwani while his beautiful bride chose to wear a plush orange lehenga.
Apart from the usual engagement rings, the couple also exchanged gold bracelets that are a part of their custom.

In consideration of Ravindra’s cricket schedule, the couple went on to set their wedding dates 2 months from the day of their engagement. Finally, the date of their wedding was agreed to be on April 17, 2016, and the venue chosen was Rajkot itself. The royal wedding kick started with a lavish sangeet and haldi ceremony.
At last, the wedding venue chosen was a premium hotel in Rajkot where Ravindra made a grand entrance in a premium SUV that was gifted to him by his in-laws. Then, he was seen riding a horse to the main hotel porch.
The wedding was indeed a true Rajput affair and the bride and the groom looked absolutely smashing.
Ravindra looked stylish in a traditional Rajput wedding attire teamed up with a Kaathiyavadi Saafa featuring a broach. He combined his look with a sword in an embellished sword sheath.
