Robin Uthappa Bowled Over By Tennis Star Sheetal Goutham

Early last year, the ace Kolkata Knight Riders cricketer Robin Uthappa was in the limelight for a breathtaking event that took place in his personal life. Yes, you guessed it right. Robin Uthappa tied the knot with his long-term beau, a former tennis player Sheetal Goutham. The 30-year-old cricket sports star, who hails from Karnataka, married his girlfriend in a fairy tale event that was witnessed by who’s who from the world of sports and entertainment.

 Robin Uthappa's wife, Sheetal Goutham is a dedicated sports person and belongs to a Hindu family while Robin Uthappa belongs to a Christian family. Needless to say, the cross-cultural wedding took place in March last year as per the full Christian ceremony and rituals. The couple first met each other in 2008, and soon after their friendship blossomed into love. And it was on Robin’s 30th birthday in 2015 that he got down on his knees and popped the question after planning for months to get it right.

They are Engaged

Robin Uthappa broke the news of his wedding to his fans by posting his engagement pics on Social Media where the couple was seen exchanging rings with each other. The engagement ceremony took place in the month of November in 2015. It was a hush-hush affair that was attended by close friends and relatives of the couple. The bride was wearing a blue and pink lehenga with gold and emerald choker necklace while Robin looked dapper in black Nehru jacket with golden embroidery.

They got Married!

Robin Uthappa wedding was a magnificent event of its sorts. Both the bride and the groom looked resplendent donning their wedding outfits flaunting their good physiques. Robin Uthappa was seen wearing a blue suit and looked absolutely dapper. The bride looked splendid in a beautiful white off shoulder gown with detailed embroidery on the torso part. She was even seen showing off her tattoo on the right shoulder giving away her bold look for the day.

Many big stars and famous personalities came to the wedding to bless the couple. Out of the noted names were Irfan Pathan and Juhi Chawla. The actress came in along with her husband Jay Mehta who also happens to be the co-owner of IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders and also KKR CEO Venky Mysore.

Surprisingly enough, Irfan Khan was blessed to be one of the best men for the wedding and was seen in a gray suit and black tie, making him look super handsome.

The wedding took place in a clandestine ceremony in Bangalore and we cannot stop gushing enough on the beautiful gown the bride was wearing. Her curves were absolutely and beautifully highlighted in that gown and the off-shoulder look aptly suited her style. She complemented her look with a beautiful white necklace, long diamond earrings and a small white hair accessory that she used to glam up her beautiful hairdo. She looked absolutely angelic and made a lot of heads turn on her big day.
