And this time, the wedding involves Prithvi Rajan and Akshaya Premnath that we can’t wait to share with you all.
Popular Tamil actor Pandiarajan was in news recently for the wedding of his son Prithvi Rajan with the beautiful Malayalam actress Akshayaa Premnath, of the ‘Om Shanti Oshana’ fame. Prithvi Rajan is Pandirajan’s younger son who marked his debut stint with ‘Kaivantha Kalai’ in 2006, that was the directorial venture of his father Pandiarajan. The wedding took place in a clandestine ceremony on May 8 last year in the presence of close friends from the entertainment industry and family members.
The engagement ceremony was quite an event in itself and gave away the trailer of the elaborate wedding extravaganza that was ahead of the couple.
The beautiful bride wore a bright yellow and pink saree with heavy embellished blouse. She chose to accessorize her look with the gold necklace and a pink choker necklace and also opted for a gold accessory for her arm. Her pink maang tikka and long pink earrings were the icing on the cake with a color combination that is so unique and hard to find in most cases. The engagement took place in a posh hotel in Chennai. The groom was seen wearing a maroon and black dhoti kurta and looked splashing.
The couple looked absolutely gorgeous on their wedding day. Like every Indian bride, Akshaya looked amazing in a bright red lehenga with golden embroidery on the overall ensemble including the blouse and the sleeves. She chose a red elaborate necklace and red maang tikka and was a vision to behold. The groom too looked amazing in a blue sherwani and was no less than a true Tamil groom.
The reception was a yet another star-studded affair with a large number of popular celebrities gracing the occasion with their presence. Some of the known ones amongst them were P Vasu, Ilayaraja, Vivek, Pandu, Poornima Bhagyraj, Prasanna, Parvathy, Sivakumar, Pa Ranjith, Nassar, Vishal and others who came in with zeal to bless the newly-wed couple.
The couple looked straight out of a fairytale in their reception ceremony and were adored by everyone who got to see them in person. The beautiful bride looked like a princess in a bright blue cocktail gown with delicate floral threadwork on the neckline and sleeves. The heavily embellished work on the sleeves was the show stopper and captivated the attention of everyone. She styled her hair with a beautiful tiara and long diamond earrings, combined with a diamond heavy necklace and was a beauty in its own way.
The groom also looked dapper in a black tuxedo and a sleek blue bow-tie and was happy to walk hand-in-hand with his beautiful bride.
