The inseparable relation of films and journalism was further strengthened with the wedding of a superstar, the charming hunk Prithviraj and the then BBC reporter Supriya Menon in 2011. Prithviraj is also a director, singer, and producer with own production house.
The popular actor in Malayalam cinema has also acted in Bollywood movies, namely, Anurag Kashyap produced Aiyya, Athul Sabharwal directed Aurangzeb, and Naam Shabana in 2017. He was born to film star parents, late Sukumaran and Mallika Sukumaran. He is a heartthrob down south India. His marriage to Mumbai-based journo broke many hearts.
Supriya is a native of Chandanagar while the actor hails from Thiruvananthapuram.
The wedding was a hush-hush affair which took place at the Kandath Tharavad Heritage Center in Thenkurissi village close to Palakkad. The wedding guest list only included 50 close family and friends. The traditional wedding ceremony took place as per Malayali Hindu customs.
Supriya, the bride was seen wearing a white embroidered saree while the groom Prithviraj also wore a white sherwani. They both looked marvelous wearing color coordinating outfits.
The couple looked so much in love.
