Diya Aur Baati Hum Sooraj aka Anas Rashid, who got engaged earlier this year in April tied knot on September 10 with Chandigarh girl Heena Iqbal. It was an arranged marriage held as a lavish affair.
Anas has acted in epic television serial Prithviraj Chauhan, Kahin to Hoga, Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka; to name a few. The adorable bride Heena work in immigration sector but quit her job to marry Anas. She is a traditional girl like his parents wanted.
The wedding has happened in Anas hometown Malerkotla in a grand manner attended by close friends and families. It was a mutual decision of both the families as Heena too comes from the same town of Punjab.
Each pre-wedding function was filled with excitement. The actor shared pictures from the ceremonies on Instagram.
The groom looked splendid on his day. For the mehendi ceremony, Anas wore a white kurta with yellow dupatta; Heena wore a traditional Punjabi yellow suit and flower jewelry.
Many celebrities from the television industry attended the ceremony to congratulate and bless the couple.
