Wedding bells were heard ringing from Kollywood superstar actor Chiyaan Vikram’s house. His daughter Akshita recently got engaged to her long time boyfriend Manu Ranjith in a star-studded ceremony in Chennai.
While the bride was coming from a popular Tamil film family, the groom too hails from a very popular entrepreneur family. He is the son of Ranganathan who are the owners of the Cavin Kare’s popular bakery in Chennai and he's also the grandson of DMK dynamite M. Karunanidhi.
The ceremony took place in Raja Ramaiya Hall in Chennai as per Tamil Hindu traditions on 10 July last year. The bride was seen wearing a red silk kanjeevaram saree while the groom was seen wearing a white silk dhoti and shirt.
This was a high-profile marital commitment. The ceremony was attended by who's who of the film and political fraternity. Everyone present at the event blessed and congratulated the couple. The couple exchanged rings at the ceremony.
The guests were well hosted and they were treated to an exclusive lunch at the engagement ceremony.
