52 year old actor and Bollywood’s mega star, Aamir Khan who also recently celebrated his 52nd birthday was honored with the ‘75th Master Dinanath Mangeshkar Award’ for his super-blockbuster movie ‘Dangal’. The film was released in 2016 and emerged as the highest grossing Indian film with a total collection of Rs 2,122.3 crore.
Aamir Khan who attended who attending any award ceremony after 16 years bagged the Vishesh Puraskar.
The RSS Chief, Mohan Bhagwat presented the honoring award to Aamir Khan. Nitesh Tiwari, the director of the film, was also present at the award event. He took over the stage to thank the present audience for making their film a successful hit.
