The free-to-air Indian television channel Sony BBC Earth recently turned one in the Indian market. The channel owned jointly by BBC studios and Sony pictures network celebrated its completion of one year in Indian market in the presence of bollywood star Shilpa Shetty.
At the event, Shilpa Shetty along with, the New York Times’ bestselling author, Dr. Michael Mosley cut the cake for the first anniversary celebration of the channel. At the event held in Taj Lands End, Mumbai the business head of the Sony BBC Earth, Mr. Tushar Shah was also present.
Sony BBC Earth broadcasts in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu along with English, the dubbed BBC series.
