The melody queen Lata Mangeshkar who is ruling over the hearts of generations has been with honored with the Swara Mauli Puraskar by Shankaracharya Vidyanarsimha Bharati Swami on 12th May.
Lata got the award at her residence Prabhu Kunj at Peddar Road in South Mumbai. Her entire family including Asha Bhosle, Usha Mangeshkar and Hridaynath Mangeshkar was present on the occasion.
She has been conferred with the Swara Bharati earlier. This is the 2nd time she received the award.
Further, Lata added, “Every award is big. All awards should be accepted with love. I feel happy to receive this award".
