When it comes to weddings, it is all about the sangeet, the decoration, the colors and relatives running up down and around the entire wedding venue. And when it is the wedding of our well-known faces, it is all about the lights, camera, and smiles on another level! That’s how the wedding story was of the ‘Badtameez dil’ and ‘Bang Bang’ songs famed singer Benny Dayal and his love of life Catherine Thangam.
They had a very cute, private and a special wedding ceremony on June 5th, 2016. The couple had their favorite moments captured, with their intimate closed ones and took all the opportunity to fall in love with each other all over again.
A Moroccan themed wedding was held in Bangalore in Temple Tree leisure resort. And the gorgeous Catherine was wearing a pink gown with a colorful band on her waist. It was also amazing to see Benny’s Blue kurta complementing his Fiancé’s contemporary gown and her Mehendi laid hands.

At sangeet, all latest hit numbers were played including the ones which the groom gave! That’s how they finished their Day 1 of the wedding ceremony. Day 2 was the wedding and on that day the couple was just a stunner for everyone.

Catherine’s wedding look was just marvelous and she was the angel on her special day. She rocked the event with her surreal look wearing nude colored saree designed by Sabyasachi. Her makeup was simple and very basic. She covered her entire bun with flowers and accessorized her look with a statement neckpiece and beautiful earrings. She held a bouquet of lotuses and just made her look even more divine.
The wedding was done in two different ways one was in a Christian way and the other was the Hindu tradition. And she was astounding in both the looks. Her Bridesmaids were wearing a typical Kerala traditional saree; white saree with golden border and golden blouse. Simple and serene was the entire ceremony’s theme.
Her mehendi was inspired by the Moroccan designs and was just a rave one to do. The detailing on the design was just impeccable.
The Mandap was just amazingly built and because of the simplicity of it, it was just the perfect angelic place for the couple to get together and vow for each other for the lifetime. The wedding was a very private affair but it was definitely a very beautiful gathering. For the wedding, there was a gathering of very close knit friends like Vishal Dadlani, Neeti Mohan and of course the great A.R. Rehman was also present to give the newlyweds their best wishes.
In the Christian style of wedding ceremony, Bride was wearing a pink ensemble with a very simple yet attractive piece of jewelry along with her beautiful smile. Also, Benny was complimenting her style with a well fit tuxedo and an immense amount of love in his eyes.
No matter how they celebrated their union, it was a spectacular moment to capture for the shutterbugs. We wish them a happy life ahead.
