Extravagant Destination Wedding Of Amit Jatia’s Son

Destination weddings have captivated us all in the best of their glory since a long time. Increasingly, more and more couples are choosing offbeat wedding locations to make them weddings a lot more fun. Middle East has been one of the favorites for many high profile weddings recently with a plethora of luxurious hotels they offer. In particular, places like Oman and Dubai that offer stunning beaches for amazing photoshoots, magnificent resorts and waterfront views that are worth remembering.

On April 28, MD of Hardcastle Restaurants Amit Jatia and his wife Smita Jatia hosted a grand wedding of his son Ayush Jatia in the plush Four Seasons Hotel in Bahrain with the daughter of a well-known family Diya Mehta. Diya is the daughter of Russell Mehta, the CEO of Rosy Blue Group and Mona Mehta. Both families picked up Bahrain as the wedding destination breaking all stereotypes and celebrating the affair amidst the gigantic island of the beautiful country.

The Four Seasons Bahrain Bay in the capital city of Manama played the perfect host to make sure every single guest had the most amazing experience. The super affluent wedding witnessed over 1000 attendees that brought Bahrain into a new light and new identity as an ‘Island wedding’ destination. The lavish wedding had chefs and musicians flown down from India.

While most of the wedding celebrations took place at the Four Seasons Hotel here with a majority of the guests staying at this stellar property, many other guests were made to stay in the luxurious Ritz Carlton Bahrain which boasts of 245 rooms spread over sprawling 20 acres of private beachfront on a splendid water lagoon. The luxurious wedding culminated with a beautiful display of firework that added spark to the entire island of Bahrain.

The families hosted a lavish engagement party last year on December 19 for the stunning bride and groom duo at a five-star hotel in Mumbai and were attended by top-notch personalities of the country. Ayush Jatia and Diya Mehta even posed for their pre-wedding shoots at this location before packing their bags and heading for Bahrain.

Every Indian wedding is incomplete without a beautiful and vibrant Mehendi and Sangeet function and this wedding was no exception. On this day, both the bride and the groom’s parents danced to old songs from Bollywood like ‘Aap jaisa koi meri zindagi mei aaye’. The groom’s squad was not far behind and they grooved to the tunes of ‘Cham Cham’ while the girls danced on ‘Chittiyan Kallaiyan’. The bride was seen entering the mandap sitting on a chair palanquin and was a sight to behold as she was carried by the male members of the family.
