Daggupati Purandeshwari Son Hitesh’s Wedding

Early this year, Union Minister Daggupatti Purandeshwari and MLA D Venkateshwara Rao were in news for reasons that had nothing to do with their political status. The good news was that their son, Hitesh Chenchuram decided to tie the knot in a lavish wedding affair in Hyderabad with Sri Puja. The beautiful bride is the daughter of Kamineni Suryanarayana of Kims Hospital.

 Yet another lavish celebration in the periphery of Telugu was an epitome of the so-called big fat Telugu wedding. NTR’s daughter-Union Minister D Purandeshwari and MLA DaggubatiVenkateshwara Rao were proud parents and gracious hosts as they performed all rituals and customs as per Telugu tradition keeping their legacy alive.

The bride and groom looked spectacular on their big day wearing beautiful and vibrant ensembles. The groom’s mother also proved to be a loving and doting mother in law as she herself chose and picked designer boutique outfits for all the functions for the bride. Sri Puja looked splashing in a pink and golden kanjeevaram saree that her mother in law had specially ordered. Her beautiful embellishments on the blouse and elbow length sleeves were like icing on the cake. The groom looked equally amazing in a white dhoti and kurta with a sleek golden border all over the ensemble. 

The couple’s parents were no less as the groom’s mother looked ethereal in a bright yellow silk saree. The sleek green colored border on the saree uplifted the beauty of her ethnic wear and she walked down the wedding with utter grace and charm.

Both the bride and the groom hold rich and strong educational backgrounds, staying true to the strong ties they have with their well-educated parents and ancestors. The groom, Hitesh Chenchuram, who got engaged to his pretty bride last year, has completed his production engineering from the US, following which, he came back to India to tie the knot and handle his families business. The bride Sri Puja, on the other hand, is no less an intelligent woman herself as she attained her degree in medicine and is on her way to complete her PG.

Followed by engagement earlier in 2013 the spectacular wedding took place on May 25 in the year 2013. Post the elaborate wedding extravaganza, a lavish reception, and a grand gala event was held in Vizag on June 3. The guests list is burdened with several eminent personalities from the Political world and film fraternity. Popular biggies including Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and Union Minister Kapil Sibal attended the wedding and bestowed their best wishes to the blissful couple with full dedication.

The best part of the wedding was that both the bride and the groom’s families have known each other quite closely in the past as well. The groom’s mother Purandeshwari’s late brother Sai Krishna had gotten his daughter married into the Kamineni family of the bride making it the second wedding involving both families. This explains the ease with which both families were seen mingling with each other.
