Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi is a man who needs no introduction, even outside the South Film fraternity. For a very long time, the actor has captivated his audience with his stellar performances and great acting prowess. Recently, the buzz around the film circuit was created by the media on the second wedding celebration of his younger daughter Srija, which proved to be one of the most sought after the occasion of the South Indian cinema.

On March 28th, 2016, the megastar’s youngest daughter Srija tied the knot with a US based man by the name Kalyan. The groom primarily hails from Hyderabad while his family belongs to Chittoor and is a well-reputed family with successful jewelry business. Kalyan is the son of Captain Kishan who is a popular jewelry businessman in the US. If reports are to be believed, both the bride and the groom’s families are said to have known each other for a very long time now. Srija is now happily settled with her husband in the US ever since.
The wedding was an elaborate and extravagant affair that took place in the actor’s farmhouse near Bangalore. The sangeet was held a day prior on March 27 and it was a cherished affair enjoyed by near and dear ones of both the bride and the groom’s family. The wedding was attended by only close family members. The couple looked ethereal as they exchanged vows and took the great plunge.
The mehendi ceremony was at its funkiest best with guests turning up in vibrant attires. The beautiful décor totally complemented the fun theme of the mehendi ceremony. Srija was seen wearing a Shravan outfit for the day and styled her look with open long curls and fabulous accessories.
For the sangeet function, she was wearing a Sabyasachi ensemble and looked divine. The couple danced to some of the popular tunes of Chiranjeevi’s songs and enthralled the audience. Mega heroes Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Sai Dharam, Varun Tej and Nagababu, along with Rana Duggabati and AkhilAkkineni also gave splendid dance performances with their stylish dance moves.
The reception, held on March 31, at Park Hyatt was graced by the presence of some top notch personalities from the South Film Industry. Megastar Chiranjeevi and his wife played the gracious hosts who welcomed every single guest with their enchanting smiles and splendid hostility. They were spotted wearing color-coordinated outfits and looked like one enchanting couple, as they paved the way to a splendid night of their daughter’s wedding.
Prominent actors like Nagarjuna, Allu Arjun, Rana Duggabatti, and some big names from the world of politics too turned up to bless the newlywed couple before they embark on their new found journey in life. Overall, the elaborate wedding celebration was a night to remember which took the South Indian film industry by storm.
