The famed actor, dubbing artist, and television presenter Sai Kumar’s daughter Dr. Jyothirmayi tied his daughter's knot in Krishna Phalguna on July 2012 July 8. Sai Kumar being a famed artist of Kannada, Telugu and Tamil has a very great move in the film industry and that’s why during his daughter’s wedding the stars of the film industry bestowed the occasion with their presence.
Sai Kumar is very well known for his gallant voice and that’s why he was being given the task to give dubbing to many actors, especially Dr. Rajshekhar and many more. That’s why it Jyothirmayi and her spouse were able to get blessings from the entire film fraternity.
Jyothirmayi’s wedding was a big celebration for the family and the wedding was conducted in a proper Telugu Brahmin ritual. The wedding ceremony was filled with celebrities like Actress Roja, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Ram Charan (Chiranjeevi’s Son), Venkatesh, Nagarjuna, S.P. Balasubhramanniyam, Manu, Dilraju and many more such stars were on the stage.
The stage was decorated brilliantly and the floral theme backdrop was just spellbinding. It is the first time after 25 years everyone witnessed S.P. Balasubhramaniyam sing at a function. The wedding and the reception were done with a lot of fun and gratitude in the air.
Being a Brahmin Telugu Wedding Ceremony, there was a sense of beauty and elegance. First, she was brought onto the stage by her uncles and later there were all sorts of ceremonies including ‘kanyadanam’. After it was done there was a grand ceremony of mangalsutra wearing and other little ceremonies like saptapadi and many more.
During the wedding, it is a special thing to wear white saree with a red border and the Kalyana tilakam on the forehead is a must in any South Indian Hindu Marriage along with a black spot with kajal on the cheeks of the bride and groom, left side for the bride and right side for the groom.
Reception
During the reception, the bride was wearing a pretty pink saree with complimenting jewelry and a brilliant smile. Her doe-like eyes were shimmering with happiness and a belief towards a happy future.
Krishna was also complimenting her with a grand suit and of course a bright smile as well.
All in all the wedding ceremony was a one-roof gathering of all the stars or three different industries. Sai Kumar’s elder son, Adi is also in the Tollywood leading hero race. It wasn’t a surprise when he also got married with his better half in 2014. Both siblings are happily married and have kids.
