Arun Jaitley Daughter Sonali’s Splendid Wedding

India’s Minister of Finance, Corporate Affair and Broadcasting Arun Jaitley’s daughter wedding was a star-studded extravaganza with some great number of biggies from different fields and backgrounds who were a part of the celebrations. His daughter Sonali, got married to a businessman and lawyer Jaish Bakshi in New Delhi.

The bride, Sonali is the founder partner of the law firm, Chambers of Jaitley and Bakshi. Such was the grandeur of the wedding that it was indeed deemed to be the ‘Wedding of the Year’ in every sense that was possible. The wedding took place on December 7, 2015, in New Delhi.

The bride looked gorgeous wearing a pink and golden heavily embellished lehenga. The intricate detailing done on her bridal ensemble won the hearts of many, who were present on the occasion. She chose to style her look with a gorgeous set of golden passa, jhumkas, maang tikka and nathni and we must admit, she absolutely nailed the look. 

The groom looked dapper in a color coordinated peach sherwani and was an epitome of a dapper Indian groom. He styled his ethnic look with a splendid golden jutti.

Amongst the personalities who attended the wedding were President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, IPL Chairman Rajeev Shukla, ace journalist Rajat Sharma, Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan, director Madhur Bhandarkar, TV actress Ridhi Dogra, singer Mika.

The wedding event was preceded by an elaborate sangeet ceremony that was spectacular in every sense. 

Shahrukh Khan looked dapper in a black three piece suit and attended the sangeet ceremony in New Delhi along with Mika. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis too made an appearance along with Mumbai’s BJP Boss Ashish Shelar and was seen greeting the hosts with the full endeavor.

The bride’s father, Arun Jaitley, stole the show in a black bandhgala jacket and white trouser.

The beautiful bride looked dazzling in a bright golden Anarkali suit. She left her hair loose and styled her look wearing golden jhumkas and maang tikka. She was seen posing and clicking pictures with several guests on the occasion. The bride’s cousin, Ridhi Dogra was also seen taking pictures and clicking selfies with her husband Rakesh Bapat, Shahrukh Khan and Mika.

Well known fashion designer and BJP Spokesperson Shaina NC and ace cricketer Gautam Gambhir were seen attending the sangeet ceremony and were all gracious and perfect having a gala time.

Eventually, the Jaitley and Bakhshi family threw a lavish reception ceremony for their extended family members and friends who are actors, industrialists, politicians and from several other diverse backgrounds at the Hyatt. 

While the bride looked radiant in a light pink lehenga and complemented her look with matching silver jewelry, the groom looked dapper in a black tuxedo. And he certainly nailed the look. Here’s wishing the couple and the family of the bride and the groom a very successful and happy life ahead.
