Esha Deol daughter of famous Bollywood actors Hema Malini and Dharmendra got married to her Boyfriend Bharat in an exclusive and elegant wedding ceremony on 29 June 2012.
Esha is an actress herself who has quite a few hits like ‘Dhoom 2’ in the movie industry. She is trained Bharatanatyam dancer. Bharat, on the other hand, is a part of the jewelry business run by his family. Esha is half Iyenger TamBrahm and half Punjabi while the groom Bharat Takhtani is a Sindhi by birth. The two met each other through Esha’s sister’s friend.
The wedding event was a grand and traditional affair with a sangeet, mehendi, a wedding and a reception.
The sangeet ceremony held at the Lalit, Mumbai was a splendid dynamic occasion. The groom made a stunning entry with the song Jumma Chumma, while the family members danced on various famous Bollywood hit numbers.
The best part of the event was when Bharat and his brothers danced to a Hema Malini number. The food spread was very lavish which included chaat, Goan, Indian, Thai and special Jaipur cuisines.
For the sangeet, the bride wore a red and orange lehenga while the groom opted for a back embroidered sherwani.

The mehendi ceremony was private affair. It took place at the Lounge, which belongs to Shilpa Shetty.
The bride got her mehendi done by famous makeup artist Veena Nagda. Later friends and family got together to the lounge for dinner. The bride looked dazzling in a yellow lehenga whilst the groom went low key wearing a brown kurta.

The bride's parents Hema Malini and Dharmendra received the groom and the wedding rituals took place as per south Indian traditions. The guests were treated to a scrumptious North Indian feast.
The bride wore a beautiful pink silk kanjeevaram saree while the groom looked dashing in a white and gold sherwani.
The wedding reception was a very magnificent star-studded event with all the celebrities from the film fraternity in attendance. The event took place in The Lalit, Mumbai. Unlike the sangeet, mehendi and the wedding which was vibrant and colorful, the reception was European themed. The whole decor was white and detailed with crystals and white flowers. The best part of the event was the red carpet where guests arrived. The chefs at Lalit pulled up an exclusive buffet for its guest list of more than 1000 members.
The bride looked gorgeous in a pretty pink lehenga while the groom went for a black suit.
The event dazzled with the shine of actors and actresses from the Hindi film fraternity.
