The famous director cum cinematographer Amal Neerad got hitched up with Actress Jyothirmayi. The wedding bells rang on Saturday 4th April 2015 at Amal’s place in Kochi in front of a marriage registrar very secretly and only close friends and family attended the ceremony.
It is the second tie up of Actress Jyothirmayi after she separated from her first husband, a software engineer, in 2011. Amal and Jyothirmayi were college mates at Maharaja College Kochi and sources revealed that both had known each other for years.
Although the wedding came as a surprise to Mollywood fraternity, Amal’s friends from the cine world – Anwar Rasheed and Sameer Thahir were present in the wedding.
Amal after graduating from his film institute started his career as a cinematographer and later produced block buster films like Big B, Sagar Alias Jacky and Iyobinte Pustakam.
Jyothirmayi started her career from TV serials and then she stepped into films in 2000. She has acted in 35 films by now. Jyothirmayi is best known for her roles in the film Meesamadhavan and the Tamil film Nan Avanillia. She has done a dance number in Amal's Sagar Alias Jacky Reloaded (2009) too.
