Kerala known as “Gods own Country” has its own unique culture and traditions. Malayali weddings involve white saree, mundu, loads of Jasmine flowers, a humongous sadya feast and many more.
Tamil actor Harish well known for his roles in Vethu Vettu, Idhu Kadhal Varum Paruvam, Pugaipadam, Goripalayam and Muthukku Muthaga got married to a Doctor hailing from Guruvayoor on June 4, 2015. The proposal was done through a matrimonial site. And since both the families seemed to like each other, the proposal went forward. Abinaya is a doctor practicing in Kerala.
The wedding took place in Kerala as a low key affair. Only close family and friends from the film fraternity were a part of the event. The whole ceremony took place as per Kerala Hindu tradition and custom at the famous Guruvayoor Temple in Guruvayoor.
The bride was seen wearing the traditional white silk kasavu saree with heavy Kundan worked blouse. The groom was also seen wearing a traditional white silk shirt and a mundu.
The bride and the groom exchanged green tulsi garlands in front of the guests as per their tradition.
The guests present at the ceremony were treated to a huge scrumptious Kerala feast - “sadya”.
