Italy was the destination that was chosen by the most talked about a couple of the year 2014. Rani Mukherjee and Aditya Chopra entered wedlock on April 21, 2014. Their wedding bells although rang too secretly for the whole world but must be a sweet sound for Rani and Aditya. The wedding was a low-key affair with only close friends and family members gracing the occasion.
Later the couple hosted a reception at their residence for their near and dear ones. It was a hush- hush affair as their wedding in Italy. Only a few friends like Karan Johar and his mother, Anupam and Kirron Kher, singer Nitin Mukesh, Siddharth Kak and a few others were present. No media person was allowed inside the party. Luckily a few photographs were taken outside the residence.
The secret love story
Even after the wedding the couple hardly made any public appearance together. One picture was released when the producer was shooting for his film Befikre, in which the couple was standing together in the group picture. The relationship was always under cover but after the wedding, Rani revealed some shocking secrets of their love story.
The couple had kept their relationship under layers and never did they come up together in public. When asked about this the duo said that they wanted to give their relationship good time and did not want any public fuss. They were seeing each other for quite a long time and finally did they decide to take it forward.
The couple was friends for a long time and Rani did not have any love like feelings for Aditya before but she loved spending time with him. Slowly the love bloomed and they were attracted towards each other. Their love story too had to face the test of times. People called Rani a home breaker but Rani said that she started dating Aditya only after he was divorced from his first wife.
For their first date, Aditya kept it the traditional way. He reached Rani’s place and asked her parents if Rani could come with him for a date. Rani’s parents agreed and expressed their happiness towards the relationship. In Rani’s words, “The universe around us is responsible for bringing us together by insinuating us”.
Rani stated that this incidence made her respect Aditya more. Rani also said that Aditya thinks like her. He respects her. He respects his family and Rani always wanted a man who has love and affection for his family. Aditya is a gentleman and a prince charming for Rani who just stole away her heart forever.
