Elegant wedding of Raageshwari Loomba and Sudhanshu Swaroop

Indian weddings are known for their glitz and glamour. At times celebrities prefer a simple and elegant wedding ceremony among close family and friends making it memorable.

Actress, Model, and former VJ Raageshwari Loomba wed Sudhanshu Swaroop. The groom is a Human Rights Barrister based in the UK. The couple got to know each other through parents and friends. Their relationship got stronger through social media.

The whole event took place in Mumbai. The functions were held at star hotels namely ITC Grand Central and Four Seasons which were well executed and planned by the bride herself though she took the advice of her husband to be before taking the final decision. The bride's brother has designed their beautiful wedding card and her close friends helped organize the event.

Since the wedding ceremony was a traditional Indian one, the couple decided to go for a western themed engagement party at Four seasons.

The party theme was Eat, Pray, and Dance where the guests had danced their way into the night with an awesome spread of Oriental, Japanese and Burmese food laid out by the chefs of Four seasons.

The bride was seen wearing a white sleeveless gown while the groom opted for a black suit. They had performed a special dance and their friends and family also performed at the sangeet making it memorable for them.

The groom wanted their wedding to be a little sporty. So right after the sangeet and one day before the wedding the couple hosted a cricket match 'Mumbai Tigers' vs 'London Lions' making it a fun filled sporty day. After the match, the guests were treated to a scrumptious meal organized by Jaffer Bhai.

The wedding ceremony was a traditional and simple one. The bride wanted every element on her wedding day to ooze out India. She had strictly restricted the use of crystals and orchids as she wanted her guests to feel and smell Indian from the moment they enter the hall.

The bride wore a Neeta Lulla ensemble. Her saree was particularly asked to be designed lightly so she could move around easily and comfortably.

The pink saree looked gorgeous on her. She looked flawless in simple and elegant makeup, greeting and hosting her guests. Later the bride changed into a deep red silk saree for the ceremony.

The groom, on the other hand, sported a gold sherwani looking like royalty. He arrived at the venue on a white horse colorfully decorated.

The whole wedding took place in ITC Grand Hotel. The pre-nuptials took place in the courtyard and the later ceremony at the Terrace Gardens.

The wedding then proceeded to the reception later in the evening where the couple mingled with friends and family enjoying a beautiful dinner set by the chefs at ITC.

The couple thanked each and every guest at their wedding for making it a splendid day for them. team wish this lovely couple a very happy married life.
