It seems season of weddings all over. Celebrity weddings rain all through the year yet some weddings are memorable for their unique celebration. Beginning of the year we saw a lot of famous weddings and our darling Chandramukhi Chautala aka Kavita Kaushik of F.I.R fame got married to her beau Ronnit as well this year on 27 January.
Well, Kavita broke up with her long time boyfriend Nawab Shah and started dating her best friend Ronnit. Ronnit standing by her during the toughest phase made her realize his importance in her life. The moment he held her hand at her father's funeral promising to always be with her, made her fall for him even more.
The couple got engaged and their wedding announcement came out very spontaneously and hence they opted for a low-key wedding among very close family and friends. The guests were invited over a call or a message.
The pre-wedding nuptials were also done as a private affair. The Haldi ceremony took place at the bride's house where she was seen wearing a yellow floral lehenga with a maang tikka. She looked the adorable herself.
Ronnit was seen wearing a turquoise green kurta. They made for a couple fall in love with themselves. Close friends from the industry were present at the ceremony.
Aashka Goradia who got engaged recently to her American beau Brent Goble was seen with her fiancé at the Haldi ceremony.
The mehendi took place the next night and the actress took to social media to post her mehendi pictures. She was seen wearing a red Banarasi lehenga skirt while Ronnit was seen in a black kurta.
Kavita shared her pictures in Instagram quoting “ mehendi done”. Kamya Punjabi, Aashka Goradia, Sayantani Ghosh were among the guest list of the function. The actress had her hands beautifully done with traditional mehndi designs which she showed off happily.
The wedding was a very very private and low-key affair and the venue was a surprise for everyone. Yes, it was- The Himalayas.
The ceremony took place in the Shiva-Parvati temple in Kedarnath. They chose the shiva temple as Kavita and Ronnit are very fond of Lord Shiva and for Kavita, Ronnit was no less of Shiva for her and hence they decided to get married at the same location where Lord Shiva and Parvati got married.
And besides that reason, Kavita loved trekking and she was the happiest when on a trek and hence there could not have been a more suitable place for their wedding location other than the Himalayas.
