Bandaru Vijaya Laxmi, the daughter of the Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya entered wedlock with Jignesh Reddy on 24th November 2016. The wedding ceremony was planned as a star-studded event with all the who's who of film and political fraternity in full swing at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad.
Though entire India was hit with the government's demonetization, this minister designed a lavish wedding ceremony for his daughter. Around 50,000 guests were invited to the wedding for which invitation was sent in a very innovative way. The invitation had a video recording of the whole bride's family inviting their guest forayed on the small LCD screen in the invitation box.
The wedding was a very grand affair. The bride was seen wearing a gold silk kanjeevaram saree with traditional heritage jewelry, while the groom was seen in a gold sherwani.
The wedding decor was beautifully made. The stage was elegantly set with exclusive and exquisite flowers. The guests were pouring in numbers and the minister played the perfect host to his family and friends.
