Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava Lavish Wedding Highlights

Popular TV actors Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava have lived in the hearts of Indian audiences for a very long time and have delivered several amazing performances on-screen. What came, to everyone's surprise, is when the couple announced their wedding. Without much ado, the couple got decided to tie the knot on May 3, 2015.

The lavish wedding took place in true Gujarati style in full zeal and fervor. Such was the grandeur of the wedding that we just couldn’t stop gushing over the festivities. The couple met together when Karan’s co-star from the show ‘Ye Hai Mohabbatein’, Aly Goni played the perfect cupid between the two.

The elaborate wedding celebrations began with a beautiful Roka ceremony on March 14, 2015. 

The couple opted for a color coordinated outfit combination and they looked adorable together. Ankita looked radiant in a maroon and gold floor touching Anarkali suit while Karan looked dapper in a maroon velvet bandhgala jacket and teamed it up with black trousers. 

Together, they indeed looked a match made in heaven.

This was followed by a beautiful cocktail ceremony that the couple threw on April 30, 2015, in Trilogy Club in Mumbai. The occasion was witnessed by many friends of the duo from the telly world and was an instant hit.

The sangeet cum ring ceremony was a yet another stellar ceremony in the couple’s lives that took place on May 1, 2015, at Novotel, Mumbai. Ankita looked gorgeous in a beautiful peach and sea green lehenga that was exclusively chosen by the groom’s mother. She opted for minimum makeup, a sleek hairdo, and a simple neck piece, and we must say, she looked ravishing. Karan too looked dapper in a shiny blue bandhgala jacket and a formal pair of trousers.

The couple exchanged rings along with dancing to the tunes of famous Bollywood numbers. 

Among some eminent guests were Rakesh and Pinki Roshan, Jeetendra and wife Shobha Kapoor, Anita Hassanandani, Supriya Pathak and wife Sanah, DivyankaTripathi, Kishwer Merchant and many more.

The wedding took place at an upscale hotel in Mumbai. Ankita looked like a perfect Indian bride in a bright white and gold bridal lehenga with red heavily embellished border. 

Karan opted for a heavily embroidered orange sherwani coupled with a heavy velvet maroon dupatta that accentuated his great physique. 

The sight of Karan entering the venue with the amazing dance performance and Ankita entering all dolled up in the foolon ki chaadar was a sight to behold.

After the much-awaited wedding celebrations, it was time for an elaborate reception that the couple threw in Mumbai for their friends and extended family members. 

Ankita looked amazing in a shimmery golden outfit while Karan looked the perfect groom in a three-piece suit. 

The couple eventually flew for a beautiful honeymoon to London and their social media account was flooded with amazing pictures from their intimate time together. We just couldn’t be happier for our favorite couple. Here’s wishing them both a beautiful and amazing life together for all the years to come.
