The wedding took place on 22nd December 2011 in Chennai. The wedding took place as per Kerala Muslim tradition. The bride was seen in a golden half white lehenga and the groom opted for a blue embroidered sherwani.

The Engagement and the wedding was a close family affair, unlike the reception which was attended by who's who of the film fraternity.
The star studded reception took place on 26th December. The bride was seen in beautiful lehenga while the groom looked marvelous in a suit. The whole event was well organized and hosted.
