South Indian Actress Padmapriya entered wedlock with her long-time friend Jasmine Shah on November 12, 2014, at Mumbai with Arya Samaj method. The wedding was a strict family affair and only close friends and family members were invited. The couple also entered the bandwagon of celebrities who got married without letting the world know.
The wedding happened as per Hindu rituals and the couple has adopted a traditional trousseau where the bride wore a sandalwood color Sari and the groom put up a decent Sherwani.
Jasmine Shah is basically from Gujarat and sources revealed that the couple had a tryst in New York City when both were pursuing their masters from Columbia and New York Universities. The entire Malayalam fraternity was unaware of the relationship, leave alone the wedding. Padmapriya has always been academically oriented and holds an MBA finance degree and a PG diploma in Environmental Law too. Along with it, she is a fine model too. She won the Miss Andhra Pradesh Beauty Pageant in 2001.
The actress has given 48 films and is a national Special Jury, Award Winner. Jasmine who hails from a Gujarati background is currently working as a Policy Head, South Asia with Jamal Abdul Lateef Poverty Action Lab which has its headquarters in Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
